Perry Capital, having outgrown their space, was moving into their new Manhattan offices and took the opportunity to hire David Piscuskas and his colleagues at 1100 Architect to help them create a workplace that met the hedge fund’s considerable technical needs, but promoted an image that conveyed the transparency of the markets in which Perry Capital trades.

1100 Architect chose dTank as the manufacturer and Tobron as the furniture dealer to make their plans for the sophisticated space come to life. As is the norm when working with dTank to create custom furnishings, engineering drawings were provided, a prototype was made, and revisions put into place prior to production.

sturdy but less expensive than some alternate materials that were considered. Two cable tracks are provided — both at the base level and at worksurface level.

“Table” segments are modular allowing for shortening or lengthening a run of trading desks.

Filing is Meridian by Herman Miller with a metallic silver finish. Lateral files were designed with a “floating” top to mirror the translucency of the trading desks. Aeron chairs by Herman Miller completed the Perry Capital’s high-tech interior.
